Effective August 1, 2026, all field crews must follow the revised lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedure before servicing any powered equipment.
A second verification step is now required before re-energizing equipment, and the PPE checklist has been updated for high-voltage zones.

Yes. From Aug 1, high-voltage and confined-space work at your Southwest site requires arc-flash-rated PPE (Class 2). Standard hi-vis vest and hard hat stay required elsewhere.
